Doula services for supporting people and families - from the positive pregnancy test until it all clicks into place.
Birth is a life changing event, but with nurturing support you will learn to be comfortable with the idea of giving birth in your own way. I can support you throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and those delicate first few weeks, and until you have found your feet to blossom into parenthood.
I am currently Based in Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotherham and surrounding areas. If you live further away but feel I am the right doula for you, please do reach out - virtual appointments can be arranged.
About Me
I go by Tia, Tiana, mum, mummy, mama...
I was born and bred in Yorkshire, UK. I am raising 3 young warriors alongside my husband, and we enjoy the simple things in life. No complications, no fuss, just nature doing it's thing and taking us where it feels we need to go.
I have undertaken a doula preparation course with Developing Doulas, a renowned group of hundreds of expert doulas offering their guidance and education. Until further notice, I am still working under a mentor in order to be recognised on the official Doula UK Registry. This means I am able to offer you a hearty discount on all services, whilst you still receive the complete dedication that you deserve.
The people on earth today are the pinnacle of human evolution. Our bodies have changed and adapted over billions of years to create and birth more perfect, miniature versions of ourselves - and most of the processes that happen in and around this time are still very much instinctual, and buried in the oldest parts of our being. After a very traumatic birth, where I felt the power of my primal body fighting against the cascade of drugs and interventions, I threw myself into learning what it all meant, and why. Come with me and we'll explore how modern technology, misused medicines and economic strain are wreaking havoc on that process, and we'll discover how you can have the most peaceful, painless, even euphoric experience possible - no matter your circumstances. Everyone will have an idea of their perfect birth but our babies sometimes have other ideas! In the event that things don't go to plan, I will still support you and your partner to navigate the upcoming events, what to expect now and in the future, and still advocate for you to have a beautiful birth.
